Ham Clubs & Organizations

There are several ham organizations. The big one is the ARRL. The ARRL represents the Amateur Radio community by protecting the frequencies we use. One example is the fight over BPL (Broadband over Power Lines) and the large amount of interference it causes in certain Amateur Radio Service frequencies. I encourage you to become a member. You'll also get a nice magazine, QST, every month.

Some other national organizations are eHam.net and QRZ.com.
