Larry's List

Alright, you carefully chose a transceiver. Now what?

I suggest you get subscribed to Larry's List.

How can I describe Larry's List? It's an email distribution list which will keep you informed of news and local events of interest to amateur radio operators. When you're ready to start serving by volunteering at one of the local runs/bike rides/motorcycle rides, Larry's List will have dates and contact information so you can get hooked up. But there's so much more to it than that.

I've never met Larry [WØAIB]. As far as I know, I've never even spoken with him on the bands. But after being on the list, it's easy to see his respect for the Amateur Radio Service and his desire for it to continue in a dignified manner.

This is Amateur Radio at it's best.
